Social Media Overview

This is a portion of the help site used to collect up to date content from social media sources. Note that some of these sources are individuals, so not necessarily writing about General Assembly until closer to and during the Assembly (and even then may include personal content). There are three main types of social media featured on the GAhelp site.  Each can be accessed from the sidebar at right, under "Social Media Links," or from the descriptions below.

News/Opinion Feed (from 25 top sources) - Found at the bottom of each social media page (scroll down) or viewable by itself by hiding this overview.

Blog Tracker: two choices below
Multi-Column Viewing (Firefox or Chrome)
      Commentary: Individuals - 4 most recent from 12 individuals (left, middle, right)
      Commentary: Groups - 4 most recent from 12 groups (left, middle, right)

Single-Column Viewing (Internet Explorer or if other display problems
      Links to Individual Commentary: progressive | moderate | evangelical
      Links to Group Commentary: progressive | moderate | evangelical
Twitter Tracker: two choices below
For a non-technical explanation of Twitter, see HERE.  It is not necessary to have a Twitter account to use the links below.  Each calls up two search windows to follow the short (140 char.) posts on subjects pertinent to GA as they are posted.  (screens automatically refresh every 30-45 sec.)  Try out one of the presets with fixed terms to see how it works, then try your own searches.
